Update from Beacon Hill: Wednesday, October 8th

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 9th, the Senate and House of Representatives will convene in a Joint Constitutional Convention, continuing the recessed session of May 14, 2025.

The Joint Session of the Two Houses will take place in the House Chamber and is set to begin at 11:30 AM.

Two of my proposed constitutional amendments are up for consideration today:

⚖️ S.12, Proposal for a legislative amendment to the Constitution to cap the state income tax

⚖️ S.13, Proposal for a legislative amendment to the Constitution requiring a supermajority vote for the utilization of rainy day funds.
