Unveiling of Portrait of Former Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken of Gloucester
What an incredible night at Gloucester
City Hall celebrating former Mayor Sefatia Giambanco Romeo Theken with the
unveiling of her official portrait before a standing-room-only crowd!
Sefatia’s passion for Gloucester, its
people, and its fishing heritage has left a lasting mark on our city. Her
leadership through challenges—from winter storms to the COVID-19
pandemic—showed both strength and compassion, and her tireless advocacy continues
to inspire us all.
It was wonderful to see so many gathered
to honor someone who has given so much of herself in service to our community.
Congratulations, Sefatia, on this
well-deserved recognition and on your portrait taking its rightful place among
Gloucester’s leaders in City Hall!
