Meeting at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Our Chief Medical Policy Advisor Dr. Bonni Berkowitz
attended on my behalf a Joint Committee on Financial Services meeting at the
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with Dr. Ben Ebert, President and CEO of
Dana-Farber, with members of the Joint Committee on Financial Services,
including Chairs Senator Paul R. Feeney and Representative James M. Murphy.
The visit highlighted Dana-Farber’s groundbreaking work in
cancer research, innovative treatment approaches, and commitment to advancing
health equity and patient access to high-quality care.
Thank you to Dr. Ebert and the entire Dana-Farber team for
their leadership in the fight against cancer and for continuing to collaborate
with policymakers to ensure every patient has access to the care they need and
deserve.
