Ipswich Veterans Memorial Park Dedication

It was an honor to join local officials, veterans, families, and community members in Ipswich for the dedication of the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Park — a powerful tribute to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our nation.

The ceremony, led by VFW Commander Larry Jordan, brought together hundreds of people to honor nearly 1,000 Ipswich veterans whose names are now memorialized at the park — including 150 who gave their lives in service. The day was filled with pride, remembrance, and deep gratitude, with moving remarks, patriotic music from the Ipswich High School band, and a solemn rifle salute by the VFW.

Special thanks to Commander Jordan, the VFW, Eastern Essex Veterans Services, local businesses, volunteers, and town departments for their tireless efforts to restore and enhance this important landmark. Their work ensures that future generations will always remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served.
