ALERT 📢 🚨
Today, Thursday, October 23, 2025, in
addition the the FY'25 Closeout Supplemental Budget, the Senate is considering
gubernatorial vetos of appropriations contained within H.4240, An Act making
appropriations for the fiscal year 2025 to provide for supplementing certain
existing appropriations and for certain other activities and projects, also
known as the FY26 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
Items being considered for override
represent $70 million in total spending.
The House passed their proposed FY26 GAA
line item veto overrides on October 8, 2025.
