Promoting Fire Safety with the Salisbury Fire Department
Fire Safety Starts with Community!
It was great to stop by the Salisbury
Fire Department’s Open House and spend time with the dedicated men and women
who keep our community safe every day.
This event was a great end to National
Fire Prevention Week and offered families a hands-on look at fire safety — from
touring the station and exploring the engines to learning how to safely
evacuate a home in an emergency.
The Salisbury FD did a tremendous job
engaging residents, especially children, in understanding how important
prevention and preparedness are.
My sincere thanks to Chief Scott
Carrigan, Deputy Chief Andrew Murphy, and the entire Salisbury Fire Department
for their service, professionalism, and commitment to protecting lives and
keeping our community safe year-round.
