Celebrating the 10 Year Partnership Between The Open Door and North Shore Postpartum Help
I recently had the pleasure of joining Gloucester's Mayor
Greg Verga, The Open Door's President Julie LaFontaine, and North Shore
Postpartum Help to celebrate 10 years of their partnership supporting families
on Cape Ann.
For the past decade, North Shore Postpartum Help has worked
tirelessly to provide parents with resources, education, and advocacy during
the perinatal period — and through their collaboration with The Open Door,
they’ve helped ensure families never have to choose between food and diapers.
In 2024 alone, The Open Door distributed nearly 6,800
packages of diapers thanks to this incredible community partnership.
My sincere thanks to everyone at North Shore Postpartum Help
and The Open Door for their compassion, dedication, and commitment to
strengthening families and giving every child the best possible start.
