First Ever Newburyport Yankee Homecoming Chowder Fest
I was honored to serve as a judge at the first-ever Newburyport
Yankee Homecoming Chowder Fest — a brand-new tradition that brought together
incredible local restaurants, great music, and plenty of hometown spirit along
the waterfront!
Congratulations to all the participants for serving up so
many creative and delicious chowders, and special congratulations to our
winners:
Mission Oak Grill — Best New England Clam Chowder &
People’s Choice Awards
Loretta — Best Alternative Chowder Award
Events like this highlight the talent and community pride
that make Newburyport such a special place.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and my fellow
judges — Hannah Selinger and Jennifer Lacroix — for making the inaugural
Chowder Fest such a success!
