Salisbury Days 2025
I had a wonderful time at this year’s Salisbury Days and was
honored to take part in the festival’s many events celebrating this beautiful
seaside town — and the people who make it truly special.
At the Opening Ceremony this year, I was able to present
official Senate citations in recognition of outstanding community members whose
service and spirit have left a lasting impact on Salisbury:
Lifetime Achievement Award – Ed Gagnon
Here and Now Award – Misty Priest
Youth Award – Salisbury Lions Cubs
Following this ceremony, I joined the teams participating in
the Salisbury,
MA Lions Club annual kickball tournament at Lions Park and had the
honor of rolling out the first 'pitch'!
I also was delighted to join SCTVMC's 94.1 COOL Radio for
their live broadcast of The Time Machine with Finn & Rev. Jim at the
Salisbury Days Car Show — a fun chance to connect with local residents, share
stories, and celebrate everything that makes Salisbury unique.
Salisbury is truly “a great place to live and be,” not just
for its stunning seaside setting, but because of the kindness, dedication, and
connection of our neighbors.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Salisbury Days Committee, town
officials, volunteers, and everyone who made this weekend such a success. Your
hard work and pride in this community truly shined!
