Buddy Walk & Family Festival 2025
It was an honor to once again be invited to join the
Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) for their annual Buddy Walk &
Family Festival at beautiful Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield.
This incredible event brings together families, friends, and
supporters from across the Commonwealth to celebrate the MDSC's mission - to
'ensure individuals with Down syndrome in Massachusetts are valued, included,
and given the opportunities to pursue fulfilling lives by providing
information, networking opportunities, and advocacy for people with Down
syndrome and their families, educators, health care professionals, and the
community-at-large.'
I was deeply honored to be recognized on stage again this
year and to stand alongside so many inspiring advocates and families who embody
the spirit of community and determination.
Congratulations to the MDSC team, event organizers and
voluntfor another wonderful event!
