🚨 Attention drivers! 🚨
DCR is reminding motorists to be aware of “Storrowing” as Greater Boston Move-In Day approaches.
If you’re moving a student into the Boston area, make sure you know the height of your vehicle and the clearance of the route you’re taking. Low-clearance bridges on parkways like Storrow Drive can create a dangerous situation for oversized moving trucks and other tall vehicles.
Please plan your route ahead of time, follow posted signs, and never attempt to drive a vehicle under a bridge if you’re unsure it will clear.
A few extra minutes of planning can prevent a major traffic headache — and help keep everyone safe.
