Congratulations to the Gloucester Education Foundation on another outstanding project supporting our students and schools!
The unveiling of the newest student-inspired public art installation at O’Maley Innovation Middle School is a wonderful example of how GEF continues to enhance learning environments, foster creativity, and build pride within our schools.
The new swordfish sculpture, created by artist Timothy Mears and inspired by O’Maley students, beautifully celebrates Gloucester’s maritime heritage while reflecting the imagination and talent of our young people.
Thank you to GEF, Timothy Mears, art teachers Brett Dunton and Toni Maldron, and the O’Maley students for bringing this vision to life and for continuing to invest in the future of Gloucester’s students.
I was pleased to have my Communications Director, Jessica Margiotta, attend the ribbon cutting on my behalf and celebrate this exciting addition to the O’Maley campus!
