Last month, I was proud to join local officials, lifeguards and community members at the Salisbury Beach Pavilion for the unveiling of the new Lifeguard Wall at the Carousel.
This meaningful tribute was made possible through the extraordinary generosity of Frank and Angela Leone, whose support helped create a lasting way to recognize and honor the many men and women who have served as lifeguards on Salisbury Beach over the years.
Their generosity has created a fitting tribute to those who have dedicated themselves to keeping beachgoers safe and preserving the important tradition of lifeguarding in Salisbury.
I was honored to present an official Senate Citation recognizing this special effort and celebrating the past and present lifeguards whose service has meant so much to the Salisbury community.
Thank you to Frank and Angela Leone for their generosity and commitment to making this tribute possible, and to all of Salisbury’s lifeguards—past and present—for your service and dedication to our community.
