📢Tarr Announces FY26Municipal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Improvement Grant Program Awardees 📢
Congratulations to the Municipal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Improvement Grant Program recipients who are benefitting from this year’s grants, awarded by the Massachusetts Office on Disability. The total investment for this program in our community this year is $166,312.
This competitive grant program helps cities and towns improve access to public programs, services, and spaces for people with disabilities. Eligible projects include ADA Self-Evaluations, Transition Plans, and capital improvements.

These grants will help to support our Commonwealth in being more accessible and equal for all, regardless of disability.
In our communities, these grants will go toward supporting the design of ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plans to address accessibility in programs, services, and facilities, in addition to funding the construction of accessible beach mat walkways and handrails in community spaces.
