It was a pleasure to join the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club at Tuck’s Point earlier this summer for the annual Red, White and Blue Breakfast, one of the community’s largest events, welcoming more than 1,000 people for a morning of good food, fellowship, and community spirit.
I enjoyed flipping pancakes alongside local and state officials, Rotarians, and volunteers who came together to help serve breakfast and make this longtime Manchester tradition such a success.
The morning was also a special opportunity to recognize longtime Rotarian Don MacQuarrie for his years of service to Manchester, Essex, and communities around the world through Rotary’s commitment to “Service Above Self.”
Don has been a member of the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club since 2003, served as Club President in 2010, provided leadership for the Red, White and Blue Breakfast, and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
I was honored to present Don with a citation recognizing his extraordinary commitment to service and the lasting impact he has made through Rotary.
Congratulations, Don, and thank you for all you have done for our community!
