'Townspeople push British back in Battle of Gloucester reenactment'

"Also joining the call to arms and firing a musket at the British forces was Gloucester’s very own Bruce Tarr, the state Senate minority leader.
“It’s an amazing feeling to be on the beach and to think about what it was really like to have our community under attack and to think about the bravery and the courage that folks had to leave everything and defend this port,” Tarr said."
