On Monday, July 1st, the Legislature enacted the final agreement of the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget, sending it to Governor Maura Healey's desk who officially signed it into law on Thursday, July 9th.
I am pleased to have worked with our legislative delegation and partners in municipal government, school districts, and public service organizations to bring focus to some very important local priorities and to deliver state investment to those priorities in the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget.
I was proud to secure important earmarks in this budget that will directly impact many local priorities in our communities.
From strengthening education and public safety to supporting infrastructure and community programs, this budget reflects a shared commitment to the things that matter most to the people we serve.
