🇺🇸 Gloucester Veterans Recognized by State Officials for Years of Service 🇺🇸
It was an honor to welcome two outstanding Gloucester veterans to the Massachusetts State House for the 2nd annual Military Appreciation Day in recognition of their extraordinary service to our nation and our community.
I was proud to nominate Mark Nestor, whose more than 26 years of service in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve—including his courageous service as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam—was followed by decades of dedicated advocacy and support for fellow veterans here on Cape Ann.
My colleague Dru Tarr for State Representative nominated Brendan Chipperini, whose military service in Iraq, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been matched by his continued commitment to Gloucester as a police officer, School Resource Officer, youth coach, and mentor.
It was a privilege to celebrate both Mark and Brendan alongside veterans from across the Commonwealth. Their selfless service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to others exemplify the very best of our community.
