It was a pleasure to join the Newburyport community on Sunday for the opening ceremonies of the 69th Annual Yankee Homecoming at the kickoff ceremony 'Olde Fashioned Sunday.'
For nearly seven decades, Yankee Homecoming has brought generations of families, friends, neighbors, and visitors together to celebrate the history, heritage, and spirit that make Newburyport such a special place.
Thank you to the Yankee Homecoming Committee, volunteers, organizers, and everyone who continues to make this remarkable tradition possible.
It was an honor to be part of this year’s celebration and to help kick off another week of festivities!
