'Hundreds honored, five families awarded during Gloucester’s Memorial Day ceremony'

"The ceremony also included remarks from state Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr, R-Gloucester, 5th Essex District State Rep. Andrew “Dru” Tarr and Mayor Paul Lundberg, who all echoed a similar message: It is critically important to honor fallen soldiers and their families.
“We need to remember that when those veterans passed, they left behind a husband, a wife, a mother, a father, a brother, a sister and we need to remember that their sacrifice is real and their pain is real,” Bruce Tarr said."
