It was a pleasure to welcome more than 100 fourth-grade students from the Howe-Manning Elementary School located in the Town of Middleton to the Massachusetts State House alongside my House colleagues House Minority Leader Brad Jones and Sally Kerans for State Representative
I always enjoy the opportunity to meet with students and discuss how state government works, the responsibilities of elected officials, and the importance of being informed and engaged citizens. Their thoughtful questions and enthusiasm for learning made for a great visit.
Thank you to the students, teachers, staff, and parent chaperones who made the trip to Boston. I hope the visit provided a meaningful look at the legislative process and inspired an interest in public service and civic engagement.
