Last week, I had the opportunity to join State Director of Rural Affairs Anne Gobi, State Rep Kate Hogan, State Senator Ryan Fattman, and education and workforce leaders from across Massachusetts for a visit to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School.
The tour provided an excellent opportunity to see firsthand how career, technical, and agricultural education programs are preparing students for success while helping meet the workforce needs of our communities and economy.
From agricultural sciences to hands-on technical training, ENSAT continues to demonstrate the value of providing students with practical skills and meaningful pathways to rewarding careers.
Thank you to Executive Director Jill Sawyer, Paul Crofts, and the entire ENSATS team for sharing their expertise and showcasing the outstanding work taking place at the school.
As Massachusetts looks to strengthen agricultural education and workforce development opportunities, there is much we can learn from their successful model.
