It was a pleasure to welcome students from Ipswich Middle School to the Massachusetts State House for a tour and discussion about state government.
Meeting with students and answering their thoughtful questions is always a highlight of the job. Civic engagement begins with understanding how government works, and I am encouraged by the curiosity and interest these young people demonstrated during their visit.
Thank you to Assistant Principal Sean Fitzgerald, Nicole LaRoche, and the teachers and chaperones who helped make this educational experience possible.
