It was an honor to join students, faculty, veterans, and community members at the Masconomet Regional High School Memorial Day Service this past Friday.
The program served as a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our nation. I was especially grateful to see students playing such an important role in preserving the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and ensuring that future generations understand the true meaning of Memorial Day.
Thank you to everyone who helped organize this thoughtful and moving ceremony, and to the veterans whose service continues to inspire us all.
As we reflect on the freedoms we enjoy, may we always remember and honor those who gave everything to defend them.
