Honoring Service and Heroism



On this Veteran's Day I hope we will all take time from the activities of our busy lives to remember those who have given service to our nation in the armed forces. They have given life to the principles of freedom, liberty and justice through their personal commitment to the beliefs that make the United States the greatest nation in the world. Honoring the Arts in our State

Recently I had the honor of presenting the Governor’s proclamation of October as Arts and Humanities month, and in doing so emphasizing the importance of the arts and artists to our economy, our quality of life and the character of our state.
