'Water service restored in Boxford neighborhood'

"“There is nothing more basic than water. If you don’t
have water, your house is uninhabitable ... This was a significant hardship for
the families,” said state Sen. Bruce Tarr, R-Gloucester, who has worked for
years with area residents on the water issues. Members of his staff delivered
water to the neighborhood last week.
Tarr, who worked with state Rep. Tram Nguyen, D-Andover, on
the Andrews Farm situation, said he called Healey directly and asked for help.
She personally got involved and issued the emergency water declaration on
Wednesday evening, he said.
“I am extremely grateful for the collaboration that happened
here,” said Tarr, noting the water issues have a “long history.”"

""While water has been restored for the time
being, Tarr said the future of the Andrews Farm Water Company is still unclear
and will need to be dealt with.
“The question is, ‘What happens next?’" he said.
Addressing the issue requires those at the state, local and
neighborhood levels, he noted.
“We all worked together. I am relieved, happy and
appreciative,” he said."
