Recently had a great visit with my colleagues from the Joint Committee of Environment & Natural Resources to see restoration of the Great Salt Marsh in Cape Ann. 

Thanks to Reps. Dawne Shand & Kristin Kassner, MassAudubon, and The Trustees for highlighting this critical work protecting our marshes, reducing carbon, and preparing for storms.

This iconic marsh is our state’s greatest contribution to continental biodiversity and helps combat storm surge, coastal flooding, and carbon sequestration.
