Honoring Nick George
Earlier this summer, I had the honor of adjourning the
Senate in memory of Rowley’s own Nick George — a decorated Marine Corps
veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and devoted community member.
Following that adjournment order, my Chief of Staff, A.J.
Paglia, had the privilege of presenting it to Nick’s son, Brian, at a recent
Rowley Selectmen’s meeting.
As A.J. said that evening: “Brian, it’s a distinct pleasure
for me to present this on behalf of Senator Tarr. Your father meant a lot to
this community, and his contributions will never be forgotten.”
Nick’s life was one of courage, service, and love for his
family and community. His legacy will live on as an inspiration to all of us.
