Honoring Our POW/MIA Heroes
This morning, I was honored to join Sheriff Kevin Coppinger
and the Essex
County Sheriff's Department for their annual POW/MIA Recognition
Ceremony, a solemn reminder of the Massachusetts servicemen who never returned
home.
Together, we read each hero’s name, rang the bell, and had
the presentation of the Missing Man Table at the Sheriff’s facility in
Middleton - home to the Commonwealth’s only monument listing every Bay State
POW/MIA.
May we always remember their courage, their service, and
their sacrifice.
They are not forgotten.
