Today in the Chamber
Today, June 18th, in the Senate Chamber during Formal Session at 1PM, the Senate will take up the following legislation:
📃 The Senate's version (S.2529), reported in part, of H.4151, An Act making appropriations for fiscal year 2025 to provide for supplementing certain existing appropriations and for certain other activities and projects, also known as the FY'25 Supplemental Budget
📃 It was filed to address funds received in the current fiscal year (FY25) in excess of the expected amount accounted for in the FY25 State Budget (also known as the General Appropriations Act) including deficient accounts, supporting distressed hospitals, and to approve various collective bargaining agreements.
📃 The House approved its version (H.4151) on May 21, 2025.
📃 On Thursday, June 12th, the Senate Committee on Ways and Means filed its proposed $532.6 million version of the bill (S.2529) and adopted a procedural order specifying the procedure for filing amendments to the FY'25 Supplemental Budget.
📃The amendment deadline for the FY'25 Supplemental budget was Monday, June 16th at 2:30 PM.
