Chopped Champion: Celebrating Gloucester's Own Sang Hyun Lee
Congratulations to Gloucester’s own Chef Sang Hyun Lee on becoming a Chopped Champion!
In a special “Sushi Showdown” episode of the popular Food Network competition Chopped, Chef Lee showcased his extraordinary culinary talent by winning all three rounds—appetizer, entrée, and dessert.
Competing against top sushi chefs, he impressed the judges with his creativity, skill, and calm under pressure, using surprise ingredients like yuzu fruit, kanpachi fish, and even seaweed-flavored potato chips.
Born in South Korea and now proudly representing Gloucester, Chef Lee is an inspiration and a testament to the culinary excellence found right here on Cape Ann.
