D-Day: Honoring the Sacrifice to Save Europe

Today marks the 81st anniversary of D-Day — a pivotal moment in world history and a defining act of courage and sacrifice.

On June 6, 1944, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy, launching the largest seaborne invasion in history to begin the liberation of Europe from tyranny.

We remember and honor the extraordinary bravery of those who served that day — many of whom never returned home — and recommit ourselves to preserving the freedoms for which they fought.

Let us never forget the price of liberty or the debt we owe to the heroes of D-Day.
