Tides of Change: Innovation at the Gloucester Marine Station
Last week, I had the honor of visiting the UMass Amherst Gloucester Marine Station with Secretary of Economic Development Yvonne Hao, Rep. Ann-Margaret Ferrante, Dr. Katie Kahl GMS Director, UMass CNS Dean Mike Fox, and Chris Dunn, Associate Vice Chancellor of Government Relations at UMass.
Seeing their cutting-edge research firsthand highlights the station's vital role in understanding our marine environment and in supporting the Blue Economy.
We had a productive discussion on how we can continue to support this critical work and about the upcoming and future renovations.
Thank you, once again, to UMass Amherst and the Gloucester Marine Station for another informative tour.
