Creative Community Group Paintings Displayed Outside of the Senate Chamber
The featured artists - Nancy LeGendre, Patricia McCarthy, Heidi Caswell Zander and Dale Sherman Blodget - are members of the Creative Community Group, a collective fostering opportunities to create and experience art on Cape Ann, the North Shore, and the broader Commonwealth.
Advancing imagery in the Senate that represents the diverse contributions of past, present and future constituents is - and always has been - important to me, which is why I am honored to be serving on the Senate Art Committee this session.
It’s a privilege to have works highlighting our district’s unique creative spirit and culture in the State House, just down the hall from my office.
There will be a reception at the State House to celebrate the artists' exhibit on Thursday, May 29th from 3-5PM.
