Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library Meeting
While it's disappointing that the library was not selected to receive the Massachusetts Public Library Construction Program grant this round, I was inspired by their dedication and determination to move forward. We had a productive conversation about future funding and grant opportunities.
Despite the challenges, it's clear that the vision for an innovative, sustainable library that honors the character of the historic building is alive and well.
I commend the team for continuing to plan for the future and for engaging the community as they launch a new five-year strategic plan and prepare for a capital campaign.
Manchester deserves a library that meets the needs of today and tomorrow.
