Honoring the Legacy from Lexington and Concord
On Friday, April 19th around, in the early hours of the morning, I had the privilege of joining the Wilmington Minutemen to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the “Shot Heard ‘Round the World.”
Beginning just after midnight, we marched through the town to honor the brave patriots who answered the call at Lexington and Concord—sparking the fight for American independence.
Their courage and sacrifice continue to inspire us, and it was an honor to walk in their footsteps on this historic occasion.
