Masconomet Regional School Committee Meeting

On April 9th, I had the opportunity to share legislative updates from the State House at the Masconomet Regional School Committee meeting with my House colleagues Kristin Kassner State Representative 2nd Essex District and Sally Kerans for State Representative.

Among other topics of interest, we listened to the School Committees budget concerns and shared our continued efforts in the Legislature to revise the Chapter 70 formula and to secure additional funding for regional school transportation and for special education—critical needs for our communities.

Meetings like this one are essential for understanding the challenges facing our local school districts and for ensuring that the work being done at the State House is aligned with our communities' needs.

Thank you to the Masconomet Regional School Committee for the invitation to attend and for their continued partnership in strengthening education for all students not only in their district, but throughout the Commonwealth.
