📢 Tarr Announces the 2026 YouthWorks Grant Awardees 📢
Congratulations to the YouthWorks Grant recipients who are benefitting from this year’s grants, awarded by the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development in collaboration with Commonwealth Corporation. The total investment for this program in our community this year is $1,896,800.
YouthWorks participants receive work readiness training, take part in paid short-term work placements during the summer and/or school year at public, private, and nonprofit work sites. They acquire core soft skills, practice professional behavior, and learn how to work effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and customers at their work sites. They also learn how to take the next steps in their education and career pathways.

These grants help to get young people in our communities involved in the workforce and prepare for their futures ahead, while also supporting local job growth within the district and around the Commonwealth.
