Today we celebrate an important part of our coastal heritage and recognize the hardworking men and women who make their living on the water.
Lobstering has long been an important part of the North Shore’s working waterfront, supporting families, local businesses, restaurants, and the many communities connected to our maritime economy.
On National Lobster Day, we recognize the generations of fishermen who have carried on this tradition and continue to contribute to the character and vitality of our coastal communities.
