World Pancreatic Cancer Day | November 20, 2025

Pancreatic cancer remains one of the deadliest diseases we face — the 6th leading cause of cancer death worldwide, with a five-year survival rate still in the single digits.

This year alone, an estimated 470,000 people across the globe will lose their lives to this devastating illness.

One of the greatest challenges continues to be the lack of a standard early detection test. That’s why awareness, education, and continued research are absolutely essential.

This November, the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition is once again elevating the global conversation to help more people understand the symptoms, risks, and critical importance of early action.

I encourage everyone to join the “Hello Pancreas” campaign and help raise awareness and hope across the globe.

Know the risks. Save lives.

Pancreatic cancer risk factors include:

Age · Smoking · Diabetes · Genetics · Alcohol use · Poor diet · Family history · Pancreatitis

Early awareness = early action.
