'Rowley celebrates designation as Purple Heart Town'

"These sacrifices deserve the utmost gratitude, which “we can never fully express nor fully repay,” Tarr said. It’s important to remember the pain, suffering, and sacrifice service members have paid for the rest of us to be free, he said.

The dedication is an “incredibly important day in the life of this town,” Tarr added.

“A grateful town remembers, honors, will not forget, and will do everything in its power to support those whose sacrifice has earned the Purple Heart,” he said."
