Last week, I was honored to attend the City of Newburyport’s 30th Annual Peace Prize Awards Ceremony held at City Hall.
This inspiring tradition recognizes students and community members who are making a meaningful difference by promoting inclusion, respect, and understanding in their community.
Congratulations to this year’s recipients for leading by example and helping to build a more welcoming and compassionate Newburyport. I was proud to present each award winner with an official Senate citation in recognition of this momentous occasion.
Thank you to the Newburyport Human Rights Commission for continuing this important work and for hosting such a meaningful event.
