On September 14, I joined Coastal Caucus and Emerging Tech Caucus members for a joint tour of the MITREcorp facility in New Bedford for an in-depth briefing and tour highlighting the region’s rapidly growing blue tech sector.
The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about MITRE’s cutting-edge work in marine technologies, autonomous ocean systems, and data-driven maritime research, and how these innovations can support environmental sustainability and economic development across the Commonwealth.
