Yesterday, I had the honor of sharing remarks alongside the City of Gloucester, Mayor Paul Lundberg, Rep. Dru Tarr, local and state officials, members of law enforcement, community advocates, students, and staff during the Domestic Violence Awareness Month Flag Raising Ceremony.
I was grateful to hear from Gloucester Coalition for the Prevention of Domestic Abuse, Gloucester Public Schools students and youth organizations, as well as HAWC and the many advocates who work every day to provide hope, support, and resources to those impacted by domestic violence.
Raising the flag was an important reminder that ending domestic violence requires all of us to stand together, speak up, and support those who need it and reaffirms our collective commitment to preventing domestic violence, supporting survivors, and strengthening our community.
Together, we remain committed to ensuring every person can live with safety, dignity, and freedom from fear. 💜
