📢 September is Emergency Preparedness Month in Massachusetts 📢
Emergencies can happen anywhere and at any time, and taking a few simple steps now can make a meaningful difference when one occurs.
This month, I’m encouraging residents, families and businesses to:
🔹 Make an emergency plan
🔹 Build or update an emergency kit
🔹 Know where to find reliable emergency information
🔹 Check in on neighbors, family members and pets who may need additional assistance
I also want to recognize the first responders, emergency management professionals, public health officials, volunteers and other public safety personnel who work year-round to keep our communities prepared and safe.
Prepared communities are resilient communities. Take some time this month to make sure you and your loved ones are ready.
