I was pleased to attend the recent Healey‑Driscoll Administration and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities announcement of the administration’s 2026 Winter Rental Round awards and to recognize the continued investment in affordable housing across Massachusetts.
The awards will support 29 multifamily housing projects and create 2,547 new units — including 2,468 affordable units — for communities across the state.
The event took place in Newburyport at Brown School Senior Affordable Housing and featured remarks from Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll and Deputy Secretary Jennifer Maddox on the importance of expanding access to safe, affordable homes.
