Yesterday, the Massachusetts State Police announced steps being taken to protect our first responders and drivers alike with the implementation of the Safety Cloud system — a real-time notification tool that alerts nearly a million motorists (and counting) when a cruiser with lights and sirens is nearby.
This cutting-edge technology supports our 'Move Over' and 'Hands Free' laws and helps reduce the risk of crashes, injury, and loss of life on our roadways.
