On the eve of Patriots' Day, I am reflecting on the opportunity I had to attend a powerful and historic reenactment at the Hancock-Clarke House in Lexington this past Friday night.
In the hours leading up to April 19, 1775, Lexington was already preparing for what would become a defining moment in our nation’s history.
We witnessed the story of Paul Revere and William Dawes—fellow Sons of Liberty—riding through the night from Boston to warn Patriot leaders John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the approaching British forces.
The live reenactment, presented in partnership with the Lexington Minute Men - Captain John Parker's Lexington Company - brought this pivotal moment to life with incredible detail and even real horses, making it a meaningful reminder of the courage and urgency that shaped our Commonwealth’s role in the American Revolution.
Grateful to be part of a community that continues to honor and preserve our shared history.
