National Police Woman Day 2024
Today is National Police Woman Day - thank to our female
officers for their service and for keeping our communities safe!
The United States Marshals Service (USMS) celebrates
annually National Police Woman Day in recognition of the contributions of past
and current law enforcement officers.
In 1884 the agency recognized the first female deputy U.S.
Marshal, Phoebe Couzins.
