Merrimack River Dredge - Plum Island Beach Nourishment Project
Today, I stood on the stand with Senator Ed Markey, Congressman Seth Moulton, Lieutenant Colonel Michael P. Carvelli U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, State Senator Diana DiZoglio, State State Rep. Lenny Mirra, Department of Conservation and Recreation Commissioner Doug Rice, Newburyport, Massachusetts Mayor Sean Reardon, Plum Island Tax Payers Association President Ron Barrett, Plum Island Foundation President Marc Sarkady, Former Newburyport Mayor Donna Holaday, and Reservation Terrace Resident Lela Wright to highlight ongoing results by public and private collaborations to make this maintenance dredge of the Merrimack River a reality.
